Procurement Conditions of Contract

The conditions of contract that apply depends on the nature of a contract, and how the contract was procured.

Below are the council's standard conditions of contract, which suppliers, contractors and service providers are required to agree to as part of the procurement process.

• Services - Terms and Conditions document
• ICT - Terms and Conditions document
• Consultancy services (other than works consultancy) - Terms and Conditions document
• Goods (and any related services) - Terms and Conditions document
• Frameworks (all excluding works) - Terms and Conditions document

The council utilise collaborative contracts/frameworks from Scotland Excel and Scottish Government which have their own conditions on contract.

Model form contracts are used mainly for construction contracts and these include SBCC and NEC.
