    Holiday school meals

    Pupils with assessed eligibility for free school meals will continue to be supported over the holidays.

    All families eligible for free school meals based on low income will receive a direct cash payment for school holiday periods:

    • Summer
    • October
    • Christmas
    • February
    • Easter

    These payments are for all children and young people in primary, secondary and special schools who are eligible for free school meals on the basis of low income.
