    Modern Apprenticeships (MA)

    MAs are paid at the National Minimum Wage supporting you to earn a wage whilst you get an industry recognised qualification. We recruit over 40 new apprentices each year within various departments.

    As a council employee, you will undertake on, and off, job training to develop your:

    • skills
    • knowledge
    • experience

    Our Apprenticeship Charter

    We deliver a successful Modern Apprenticeship (MA) programme across various council services, supporting the North Ayrshire Apprenticeship Charter.
