We want all our people to live in the right homes, with access to any support services they need. Our Local Housing Strategy (LHS) tells you how we hope to achieve this ambition.
Local Housing Strategy 2023 to 2028
It is our strategic ambition for all out people to live in the right homes, in great places, with access to any support services they need. The Local Housing Strategy 2023 to 2028 document mirrors the format of Housing to 2040 and sets out four overarching outcomes which align to the four key strategies in Housing to 2040.
The Local Housing Strategy has the scope to impact document on anyone living in the area or who:
- is considering moving to the area
- may need housing
- may need housing related services
- may need housing support
Strategic Housing Investment Plan (SHIP)
Our Strategic Housing Investment Plan document sets out the affordable housing investment priorities within North Ayrshire. This helps us achieve the strategic outcomes in the Local Housing Strategy. The plan is reviewed annually.
Statement of Intent
The council is intent on attracting funding for the benefit of our residents. The ECO - Statement of Intent document lays out our plans to access funding through the Energy Company Obligation (ECO), Flexible Eligibility mechanism.
