Property factoring
A property factor is an organisation appointed to manage the maintenance of a property, owned by more than one person. They arrange repairs with a contractor and issue bills to each owner for their share of the cost.
We act as a property factor where we own one, or more, properties in a common block.
A property factor must:
- register with the Scottish Property Factor Register
- prepare a statement of services document - please note additional information document
- follow the Scottish Government's Code of Conduct for Property Factors.
